What we store on your device
We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage (such as localStorage) on the chefcart.app website. The ChefCart mobile app does not use cookies. This policy applies to the website only and complements the Privacy Policy.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function. Includes your locale preference (set by next-intl when you switch language) and the storage of your cookie choice itself (cc-consent-v1 in localStorage). These cannot be turned off.
Preferences
Remember non-essential settings between visits — currently the persistence of your locale choice across sessions.
Analytics
Two analytics services, both gated behind your consent: <b>Vercel Web Analytics</b> provides cookieless page-view counts using anonymized hashes. <b>PostHog</b> (EU region) adds aggregate usage data so we can see which pages are useful. We don't build personal profiles, and we don't share data with ad networks.
Third-party providers
If you enable Analytics, PostHog will set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Vercel Web Analytics runs without cookies and without personal identification. We do not currently use any marketing or advertising trackers.
Manage your choices
Use the link in the footer to reopen the banner and change your selection. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
